After spending a lifetime in the high energy creative field of advertising, I decided that it was time for a new adventure. An adventure that aligned with my other life long pursuit, empowering youth by helping them connect with great opportunities.
Education & Entrepreneurship... both open minds and stretch horizons and make the impossible possible. A phenomenon I have personally witnessed numerous times is the magic that happens when you help a young person discover the amazing possibilities that await them if they are willing to pursue their dreams by taking those difficult first steps. In a short span of a few years I have seen the magic and the resulting amazing transformations many times.
I have been actively engaged in teaching since 1993 and mentoring startups since 2008 but my dream is to scale up the limited impact that I have had by mentoring and teaching a few to building a platform for Change that can reach out to millions.
Change Mechanics is the beginning of that dream and as always I am fortunate to have the support, active participation and assistance from those who believe that this is a dream worth pursuing, from my co founder Jawad Humayun, to the extremely talented and motivated core team at Change Mechanics, the advice and motivation from my colleagues in the entrepreneurial ecosystem and the rock solid support from my friends and well wishers and most importantly the prayers and wisdom of my parents ensure that we are off to a fantastic start.
This is a journey of change attempting to chart a strategic path in the ever changing world made even more turbulent by the storm of the 4th Industrial Revolution, a disruptive force that promises to change absolutely everything of life as we know it.
Change Mechanics will be a voyage of discovery to find the best possible vantage point for Pakistan in discerning the Future of work, jobs, education, health, agriculture, technology and communications in a changing world. Our focus will remain on empowering our youth by ensuring that they are aware and connected with the possibilities and opportunities that come with these changes. We aim to nourish and support startups, create strategic alliances with Universities and Industries to ensure that our education system becomes a powerhouse of innovation that benefits society and humanity. We aim to become a knowledge platform and an innovation hub, a facilitator and an enabler and most importantly a cheer leader for those who dare to think differently.
